Diwali Cracker of 2014

Recently released movie “Happy New Year” has been a real cracker in bollywood this time. Movie has been diwali gift to the audiences and it achieved what it wanted. Though it got mixed review, but it is still on the way to break Box Office records.Till now HNY has managed to make worldwide business of 351 crore.
“Happy New Year” already has already broke several records in bollywood and has managed to hold 6th position with earning of 351 crore worldwide breaking the record of Bang Bang. Hritik Roshan starrer movie,”Bang Bang” was able to rake 340 crores.  Though Bang Bang is still ahead of HNY regarding box office collection in India according to Wikipedia updates of 6th Nov,3.30PM. Bang Bang has managed to earn 181 crore whereas HNY is still on the go with 180 crore.  
Further to reports on Koimoi.com, HNY has beat the record of Don2 which had collected $11,750,000 and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna which had raked in $10,770,000. Not only that HNY has also beaten Salman’s Kick which had made $11,100,000 overseas.

However SRK fans are still hoping to get his movie in top 5. Will HNY be able to get 5th position breaking the record of Krrish 3 holding its position with Box Office Collection of 374 Crores Worldwide. It may be difficult to get 5th postion in worldwide collection but still fingers can be crossed for the 5th position in Box Office Collection in India. Currently Salman’s movie “Ek Tha Tiger” has been placed in no.5th position with collection of 184 Crores. SRK is on the way to beat the record.

Happy New Year is directed by Farah Khan and it has been said SRK has always been lucky charm to Farah. First directed movie of Farah with ShahRukh Khan was “Main hoon na”, which also did well in box office that time.
